There are options on the account as well as Site Admin page for disabling these e-mails. As far as not being able to change the e-mail address of the sender when e-mailing a web link is concerned that is agreat idea that will be incorporated in the next release. Thanks

Subject: Disable email notification and restrict address fields

Is there a way to disable the email notification on uploading/downloading of files with Web File Transfer? I have configured our installation to forward the admin email notifications to our IT staff, but we really do not want to receive an email every time someone uploads a file to the site. Also, is there a way to restrict a user's Name and email address when sending a weblink email? I would prefer the user name and email remain what was entered when the user signed up for an account (to prevent identity confusion when individuals change their contact info in the webmail form). Thanks.

If the software is installed then uninstall it and run setup.exe which installs the prerequisites.

The most likely cause of this is that you ran webfilexfrv50setup.exe to install the software rather than setup.exe.  The program setup.exe installs prerequisites that are needed to run bothe installtion program and web file transfer.
