| | Logon failure count not reseting after successfull logon The logon failure count is not reseting after a successfull logon. Our failure threshhold is set to 4 fails before being locked out. The logon failure count deletion timer is set for 1 hour. Is there also a way to make the failure count reset after a successfull logon? | |

Using your setting below try logging in using a test account and fail to log in three times. Then log in as administrator and you will see three failures.
If you then wait an hour and five minutes and try logging in again and fail you will see that the failure count is set to one. The logic is that
if you fail to supply the correct password four times within an hour it will suspend your account. Even though you may see the three failure
counts indicated at the account level they are only relevant if you fail to log in again within a one hour period.
I am not sure which version you are running but there is a <Reset> button next to the No Password Failures field. Hopefully my answer will
satisfy the question you had. | |
