Windows Server 2008 Notes

	Certification is still underway however if you want to run Web File Transfer on this platform you are required to do the following.

Step 1

Install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable if not already installed.

Step 2	Ensure you have IIS 6 Management Compatibility Installed in IIS 7. ( See Below )
Step 3	Ensure that the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed then proceed to Install Web File Transfer.

Step 4	You must assign Web File Transfer to a Classic .NET AppPool. ( See Below )
Step 5	In order to upload large files the following command needs to be executed to allow files up to 2.0 GB to be uploaded. Note that "Default Web Site/WebFileXFRV35" may need to be changed if you do not install in the default location. %systemroot%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd set config "Default Web Site/WebFileXFRV35" /section:requestfiltering /requestlimits.maxallowedcontentlength:2100000000

Step 6

Restart IIS
