File Transfer Today
In today's fast paced global economy the ability to transfer files between organizations is becoming increasingly critical. In many cases sending files via CD , Dat tape or on a floppy is just simply no longer an option due to shortened delivery times and the need to respond quickly. Our product will ensure that you can transfer large files easily using the web based file manager that eliminates the hassles of using other electronic methods.

The following are the most common installation issues.
   ● Ensure you are logged on with an account that has Administrative priviliges.
   ● If you are not running your Web Server on port 80 or 443 then you must switch IIS to run on one of
these ports to install the software. Afterwards you can switch it back

following folders and subdirectories. This access is granted during a successful installation process.
           - File Store Root C:\WebFileXFR
           - Database Directory C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebFileXFR\App_Data

Can I customize the way that Web File Transfer v3.1 or newer looks.
   Yes you can.
Within the root directory of Web File Transfer which is usually
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\WebFileXFRv35 you will notice an App_Themes folder.
There are two supplied themes that you can modify or you can copy
one of the existing themes to another folder in this directory and modify it.
After choosing a theme you want to use
           1) Modify the Default.css file in the theme folder to specify your own images or company colors.
           2) Modify the <pages styleSheetTheme=/> section in the web.config file located
in the web root directory to reflect the theme you have chosen.
           3) Browse the web site.

I want to move Web File Transfer to another Server. Which files should I be concerned
   with to save my settings.
If you are using Web File Transfer 2.0 or newer then you need to save the ftpxfrdbase.mdb file
located within the App_Data folder of the root directory of where Web File Transfer is installed.
The other files are the files uploaded and files available for download in the File Store Root
     which is usually C:\WebFileXFR
After reinstallation on a new server typically replacing the ftpxfrdbase.mdb file and copying over
the files in the File Store Root will result in a successful move.
   ● Note that any customizations to the themes , cascading style sheets or ASP pages will also have to be
reincorporated into the copy of Web File Transfer on the new server.

Web File Transfer is not sending e-mails notifications.
Ensure that have have specified the SMTP Server name and the Admin's e-mail address in
      the Site Admin settings page.
Check the spam filter settings on your e-mail server.
